VIPER 65cc Marine Engine with Walbro carb.
This engine has been designed and developed by Viper Hulls and will fit between 5 inch engine rail. 17 to 20 horse power @ 18500 rpm depending on cc capacity you want to run. Uses a 3/8 cable which steps down to a 5/16 shaft to stop any flexing and breaking of the strut housing. Options to step down to run standard props of stay with the 5/16 stub and run direct drive spinning a 110mm 4 blade prop that has been designed for this engine.
Also developing a counter rotating 30% step up gear box which will be available in a few months time and scale steerable stern drive to suit.
Engine comes complete with tuned pipe either wrapped around the front of the engine or 90 degree header and run straight down one side of the hull and out the back of the transom, newly designed engine mounts that will not sag with the weight of the engine, collet to suit 3/8 cable, electric start and electrical box that runs off one battery to start the engine and runs the ignition system and also the receiver for your radio. Starting with the switch on your transmitter, no more belt start or pull start. Ignition system is a power spark ignition with variable timing characteristics if you like to tinker to gain more performance. Price TBA.
